Indigenous African Knowledge and Anticolonial Practice takes a critical look at alternative knowledge systems in a bid for the center. It calls into question the epistemological approaches that have often been universalized. This book gives voice to the Indigenous African way of knowing and spirituality in an anticolonial project in resisting subjugation in knowledge production.

Jennifer Jagire was born in Tororo, Eastern Uganda. Jenn is a PhD student in Sociology of Equity Studies in Education at the University of Toronto. Her interests are in Indigenous African Knowledges with the use of traditional African knowledge and spirituality. The author takes an anti-colonial lens in validating Indigenous knowledges.
