Beschreibung
Learning and educational processes of people with Alzheimer's dementia have not yet been empirically investigated from an educational science perspective. Do learning and educational processes take place under the conditions of incipient Alzheimer's dementia and, if so, how are they organised? With the help of biographical narrative analysis, Nora Berner empirically traces the suffering, learning and educational processes of people with Alzheimer's dementia in order to understand the intertwining of illness and lifestyle. Shifts in the meaning of the learning arrangement process with the disease, efforts to maintain education and dealing with dwindling abilities are revealed.
