Beschreibung

School violence is not new nor is it typically a one country phenomenon. History shows that schools in Australasia, North America, Europe, the Nordic Countries, the Far East, as well as Africa have been plagued with violence. In Kenya, the public concern about indiscipline in schools has been manifested in the media, congressional testimonies, numerous studies, and reports. A lack of conflict resolution remains a reality. This book explains to the reader that conflict is inevitable as it forms part of everyday routine and may happen to anyone at any time. There are many causes of conflict which can escalate if not resolved. The author offers the reader some useful tips about theories of conflict and how to apply different conflict management mechanisms.
