This book presents an approach for e content development based on the principles of constructivism, multimedia learning, and BSCS 7E model. Multimedia helps the process of learning goal oriented, more participatory, and flexible in time and space and to increase relationship between teachers and students. Multimedia offers unique advantages in the field of education. Multimedia enables one to provide a way by which learners can experience their subject in a vicarious manner. Curriculum developers and teachers are now able to create animated classroom experiences using these tools. The Multimedia Learning Package can be designed and developed with a theoretical background of Mayer's cognitive theory of multimedia learning, and ADDIE model. ADDIE is the standard basic model for almost all instructional design. Hence this book is expected to benefit the educators, curriculum planners and other researchers in the field of multimedia development.

Dr. Dhanya B. Chandran working as Assistant Professor, Sree Narayana Training College, Nedunganda, India. She secured M.Sc. from M.S. University, Tirunelveli and M.Ed. from the University of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram.She has qualified UGC-NET with JRF in Education. She was awarded Ph.D. in Education from the University of Kerala, Thiruvanantham.
