What do I choose? Is the question most students have to ask when it comes to choosing subjects to study? Choosing subjects is one of the most influential decisions students make in their educational life. F actors that affect the students choice of subjects can be extrinsic, intrinsic or a combination of both. Decision to select subjects in a certain direction can heavily be influenced by several factors. Female students heavily favour the humanities subjects while the male counterparts incline towards the sciences cluster. In this book Magdalene and Lucy Njagi have explored some of the factors that influence students in the selection of subjects.
