The book is about classroom assessment strategies. Especially, investigating the way that the teachers deliver the questions to the students. The book focuses on the two main types of assessment. Formative assessment which requires to provide feedback to the students. Formative assessment is practiced every lesson in every day. The second type of assessment is that summative assessment which usually happens at the end of the lesson or unit or semester. Additionally, the book differentiates between these two types and continuous assessment. It gave a model to unpack the overlap between formative assessment and continuous assessment. The main factor of identifying this distinguishes is diagnostic characteristic.

Dr Khalid Alotaibi has completed his PhD degree from La Trobe University, Australia. He engaged with teaching and research from the last ten years. Currently he is an Assistant Professor and Dean of Business Administration college at Prince Sattam Bin Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia. He has presented some research papers in some conferences at United States and Canada, and he visited some countries like United Kingdom, South Africa and Australia for scientific purposes. Also, in his credit are many research papers which are published in reputed journals in the field of education and research.
