These rights exist for each of us because we are human beings.That is why; it becomes very important for all the children to know about human rights from the very beginning. Thus, the issues of the development of the human rights value in the school are very important. Writing this book is an endeavour to understand the basic connotation of human rights from empirical perspective.

Rajani Ranjan Singh is Associate Professor in Education at Vardhman Mahaveer Open University, Kota, Rajasthan. He is the Alumni of Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi (UP). He secured Gold Medals for standing first position in University Examination at M.Ed. and M.A. (Psychology) levels. His area of specialization is in Human Values Research Methods
