Motivation has been an important field in ELT research, however, the focus is usually either on students' motivation or the relationship between students' and teachers' motivation, with some research focusing on factors that affect teacher's motivation. Nevertheless, no single piece of research discusses teachers' motivation toward different teaching tasks. Hence, the aim of this book is to bridge this gap and discuss teacher's motivation toward five specific teaching tasks.

Alaa Alnajashi is a university lecturer in Saudi Arabia, she is very interested in psycholinguistics, psychology of language learner and education in general. Currently she is doing her PhD in UK.
