Beschreibung
The goal is to include all of the knowledge in the field of practicing and dealing with musical works that the author received during his long-lasting occupation with this wonderful instrument. He tries to take into consideration different approaches that were introduced to him by all the menthors that he had a chance to meet and learn from them to this very day. The objective of this publication is to carry out at in-depth review of the process of practicing (with an emphasis on contemporary music) in all of its phases; from the first contact, through analysis, goal-setting, facing problems and eliminating mistakes during the process. In the last part of the dissertation the main focus is on saxophone practice and its individualities.

Ziga Vesligaj (1994, Slovenia) received his education at the Anton Bruckner Private University in Linz - KBA and KMA of classical saxophone. He is passing on his knowledge at the Music schools in Sentjur and Celje.
