Work theme: features of J. Brahms style (based on the example of his late chamber-instrumental production). Work object: chamber-instrumental work of Western European composers of classic-romantic time. Work subject: stylistic features of J. Brahms chamber-instrumental work based on the example of late opuses (Violin Sonata, Op.100 and Clarinet Sonatas No.1, and No.2, Op.120) in the context of European culture. Work material: Violin Sonata No.2 in A major, Op.100, Clarinet Sonatas No.1 in F minor and No.2 in E-flat major, Op.120, with Viola and Violin, respectively. Work purpose: define the principles of J. Brahms work with thematism specific to his late chamber-instrumental production. The given purpose defines tasks set in the work: - analyze the structural, melodic and harmonic features of the Violin Sonata, Op.100; - analyze the structural, melodic and harmonic features of the Clarinet Sonatas No.1, and No.2, Op.120; - identify the features of interpretation and performance difficulties in Sonata No.2, Op.120 (based on the example of the main part of the first section).
