After long years of teaching and researching, the author of this book has found that furniture pieces undergo an evolution, much like living creatures. After its appearance, an archetype passes through different stages, changes materials, construction and technology to come to us in the shape we consider to be comfortable and reasonable. Designers today are very much like archeologists: they create their objects after having made a great discovery. Autorenporträt
Regina Raycheva graduated architecture at the University of Architecture, Construction and Geodesy in Sofia in1980. She teaches Interior Architecture and History of Furniture at the University of Forestry in Sofia. Professor from 2017. Among her publications are books, monographs, research and conference papers and other press materials.
