Beschreibung
This work explores the life and work of Slovenian composer Lojze Lebic. As a listener and interpreter of his music I dare to claim, that regarding uniqueness of the musical language (especially on the field of choral music), persuasiveness of the structure either in vocal, orchestral or chamber music, and its message and effect on the listener or the performer, Lojze Lebic is one of the most important contemporary composers on a world scale. My goal is to contribute to recognition of the author, who despite receiving numerous acknowledgements abroad, is still not getting the appreciation he deserves, as is evidenced by the lack of foreign discussions, articles, essays, etc. In my conclusion, I will present a specific work (Lojze Lebic: Invocation/ à Primoz Ramovs), which I performed on several concerts across Slovenia, and try to affect the whole impression about the composer, which the reader will create during reading of my work.
