Her performances in which she arranges naked model in strict choreographies are spectacular. In this publication, Vanessa Beecroft reflects on her art in six in-depth conversations. Originating from a conversation between writer Christian Kracht and publisher Walther König about Vanessa Beecrofts work, König Books invited Beecroft to reflect on her performances, a process she began in 2017. The result is now available: In extensive interviews with collaborators and artists, she explores both the motivations behind her work and audience reactions. The title refers to a conversation with model Stacey McKenzie which Beecroft recorded in 2022 in collaboration with Chris Kraus - and to a film admired by Rainer Werner Fassbinder, though no one involved has seen it.
