Beschreibung

There is a preoccupation of explaining how we could describe ourselfs in a way that has been compounded at different places, times and in different contexts. As for many of transnational artists experiences, included I, are crystallised throughout the social and psychological space that they create for themselves, at their sacred places - studios, rather than homes; For my practice, my studio is a sacred place and space. It is my home, mosque, church, and my temple. It is the place that I belong to, it is the place of: searching/making - focusing/refining - observing/reflecting - observing/reflecting - responding/filtering - inspiring/influencing - connecting/exploring - interpreting/transforming - creating/documenting.
