CAROL O'SULLIVAN is Senior Lecturer in Language and Translation Theory at the University of Portsmouth, UK, where she teaches graduate courses in translation theory, translation history and subtitling. Her previous publications deal with the history and politics of translation; audiovisual translation; and film and popular culture.
