This book uses popular culture to highlight the intersections and interplay between ideologies, technological advancement and mobilities as they shape contemporary Irish identities. McIntyre offers a wide-ranging discussion of contemporary Irishness, tracing its entanglement with notions of mobility, regionality and identity. Autorenporträt
Anthony P. McIntyre is a Teaching Fellow in Film and Media Studies at University College Dublin, Ireland. He is Co-editor of The Aesthetics and Affects of Cuteness (2017) and recent publications have appeared in Television & New Media, Feminist Media Studies, and European Journal of Cultural Studies.
