Paintings with Stories is an anthology of anecdotes, memories, meditations, poems, essays, first-hand accounts, and short stories that relatedirectly or indirectlyto all that exists beyond the surface of the work of Fabian Erik Patzak. The paintings, created by one hand, interlace the words of twelve distinct writers and invite readers into intimate interior worlds. The publication provides nearly seamless transitions between and within two decades of painted works and nearly a century of memories and stories from different times and places.
