Beschreibung
This book is a poetry on architecture which begins from its early form to its evolution till the modern times. It has been based on Shakespearean sonnets. The objective has been to present the several facets of architecture focusing on prehistoric to Egyptian, Greek, Roman, Early Christian, Romanesque, Gothic, Industrial, Renaissance and modern styles. Efforts have also been made to highlight briefly on Nepali architecture corresponding to the aforementioned styles. This follows from the author's passion to link architecture and literature for which four books have already been published in Nepali language related to architecture, disasters risk reduction and Buddha's life. It is hoped that this book will offer something new to the readers in view of very little architectural poetry written in Nepal so far though a huge amount of architectural prose literature already exists in Nepal and outsides.
