This study delved into presenting a comparative analysis of Wole Soyinkas attitude towards his native Yoruba culture and R.K Narayans attitude to his respective Indian culture. The attitudes of the aforementioned authors towards their native cultures have been revealed through their work s, Death and the Kings Horseman and A horse and two goats respectively.

Lekan Afolabi is an African writer of Nigerian decent with almost ten years of writing experience. He is a graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria. He is a graduate of Literature in English with interest post-colonial literature. He is an avid reader and has found fancy in the works of Wole Soyinka, Chinua Achebe and Chimamanda Adichie etc.
