Beschreibung
She laughs at his joke of her but her cheeks burn red. Directed at her, the crowd jeers along with her husband, appreciative of his wit. Tears of humiliation gather. Helpless, she fades like an old photograph left too many years on a windowsill, bleached by the sun and then trashed, forgotten and no longer valued.
