Beschreibung
The year of 2018 was big celebration for the Republic of Latvia (Latvia). It was celebrating a hundred years since it became an independent state in 1918. Before telling how Latvian independence got restored on 21 August 1991, it is important to understand how Latvian independence began and developed and how became the country that it is now. For that will be short description of Latvia before First World War, then in a First World War and in the War of Independence. Here will be explained more detailed, because First World War was turning point for developing Latvian statehood. Then will be short story of processes why Latvia lost its independence and then how restored its independence. Here will be more detailed explanation because Latvia restored the system what roughly was the same as after First World War.
