Behind this towering figure of traditional ruler and statesman, we unveil the picture of a family man, husband and father. Mate-Kole like any other ruler, has his fair share of trials and challenges. He maneuvers through these waters and skillfully walks the tightrope between traditional culture on one hand and Christianity on the other. Despite the passion with which he executes his role as ruler on the local and national platforms, he does not sacrifice his responsibility to his family. The impact of his efforts are seen in the contribution's to the political, economic and social determination of Manya Krobo and the nation of Ghana.
Autorenporträt
The author is a Ghanaian and has had most of his education in Ghana. At the age of 18, he lost his sight and consequently became totally blind. Driven by determination and a resilient spirit, he continued his education and obtained a Ph.D in African Studies from the University of Ghana. The author is happily married with three wonderful children.
