The present book is the result of ample investigations in the national archives and a deep excursion into the specialized, rather ample bibliography. At documentary level, numerous unedited diplomatic, economic and military documents belonging to the Archives of the Romanian Foreign Ministry or the Romanian Military Archives have been explored, which guarantees the originality and novelty of the information evoked throughout the book. PhD in History, Marusia Cîrstea is currently Associate Professor at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Craiova, Romania. Her research and scientific activity is focused on the English-Romanian relations in the interwar period and contemporary world history.
