Dr. Castillo is a postdoctoral researcher and lecturer at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid in the Prehistory Department. She is a member the Scientific Committee of Archaeological Heritage Management (ICAHM- ICOMOS). Her research lines include Archaeological Heritage: Preventive Archaeology, ITC, Architectural Heritage and World Heritage. She has been leading the Project The Treatment of Archaeological Properties in the World Heritage Cities of the European Union & Hispanic America for the past four years. She continues working on these same researches with other projects in the geographical area of study and with the focus in social perceptions, participations process and conflicts in the Cultural Heritage management context.
