It was a blast; the din wasnt unusual. How long would this continue? This question would remain a mystery until and unless the Tigers and the Dons stopped their hatred of each other. Sepha panicked and shivered at the mention of the word bomb by her mother. She heard the loud explosion which was very near. Somebody from the family might have died, she thought. Her body became numb and she was almost choking. Her mother held her right away and scuttled her inside the bedroom. Just then, a knock was heard; her aunty came and cried, Your uncle hasnt come back yet. Wild Kombireis is about the clashes between two groups of people, namely --the Dons of the Wild and the Tigers of the Wildin a place called Kaangleipaak where people panick as the enmity between these groups disrupts the peaceful and the tranquil normal lives in the valley. Sepha has seen this disturbance along with others which mars her beautiful childhood with ugly scenes of violence and tortures. In this bizarre situation, she loses her love, Nongpok and also her dignity as a woman which is a kind of punishment for loving the wild and its heritage.
