Specifically, through the reading of To Kill a Mockingbird within the theory of Levinass ethics of Alterity we can answer this question in contact with the Other. This book focused on the Levinasian ethics of Morality. It intends to show how ethical Harper Lees characters are in this novel according to Levinas perspective.

Tohid Shiri received his BA in 2010 in English Language and Literature from Urmia University. He got his MA in 2015 from Islamic Azad University, Tabriz Branch. Currently he is a full-time English Instructor and Supervisor at Arvand and Ghasr-e-Zaban Language Institutes. Also he is a part-time English Lecturer at the universities of Urmia, Iran.
