In any Teacher training programme, the study of Curriculum as a Course has been a major concern because of its importance in providing answers to "What" to teach and "How" to assist students to understand the prescribed school training activities. This textbook outlines the Nature and Scope of Curriculum, the process of Curriculum development, Models of Curriculum Planning, historical development of Curriculum in Nigeria and various instructional strategies or approaches used in the Classroom teaching. To further assist the teachers, other issues discussed include Agencies in Curriculum implementation, Organization of Teaching practice and Classroom Control and Management.

Dr. Ibrahim Abdulrahaman is a lecturer and a seasoned administrator, born in October, 1960 in Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria. He took his Bachelor and Master Degree in Canada and Ph.D from University of Ilorin, Nigeria in 1994. He has been Head of Department, Teaching practice coordinator, Dean of School, Deputy Provost and Acting provost in KWCOED.
