Oddny and Gunnhild meet as children, and they could not be more different. Oddny longs for a peaceful life. Gunnhild burns for power. But after a wise woman makes an ominous prophecy, the girls swear a blood oath to help one another. When tragedy strikes Oddny's family she finds herself lost. Gunnhild, though, is on her way to her destiny. When they find each other, their bond will be tested in ways they could never had imagined. A lush feminist reimagining of Norse myth.
