Let us be calm in the view of things that are to come. Let us close our eyes, so that we do not err, and learn to see. Let us endure until the great end comes and the waves subside before the breeze from seaside wafting. "A volume of poetry that reveals the beauty of its structure only in a repeated reading., but then it should be possible for the attentive reader to find in all these poems his fears as well as his hopes, but also his tasks. "Come" is not just a collection of diverse poetry but a composition of poems in the four chapters "I", "ASK" "SAY" and "PRAY". Every chapter is a poem in itself. The author sees himself in the chapter "I" as man at the sea. He puts some troubling questions concerning our time in the chapter "Ask". He answers these questions with his poetic visions of the great Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ in tne chapter "Say". What must men do to participate in that beautiful event? This is the subject of the last chapter "Pray".
Autorenporträt
Der Autor hat Ökonomie, Philosophie und Theologie an der Universität des Saarlandes studiert, war als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter in der Forschung und als Dozent in der beruflichen Ausbildung tätig. Nach Renteneintritt verlagerte sich sein Schwerpunkt mehr auf philosophische und theologische Themen. Er ist Mit-Initiator des Café Philo in Chemnitz. 2015 erhielt er den Preis der Jury beim Philosophy Slam, Chemnitz. 2017 publizierte er zusammen mit Thea Johannsson "Spielregeln der Gesellschaft" (siehe Anhang). In dem Werk "Flucht - eine globale Herausforderung" kombiniert er seinen ökonomischen, philosophischen und theologischen Sachverstand, der dem Leser in diesem Manifest in der komprimierten Form der Thesen, Fragen und Politikvorschläge aus dem Buch vermittelt wird.
