'Beat The Grass' is his third book, following 2015's 'Naked in the Coffee House' and 2010's 'Can't say Why' and observes the last five years of his life. His new book covers many topics including; Love, parenthood, religion, bar life and the very nature of the human condition. It's tone is dark with elements of comedy and satire mixed with Grant's signiture style.

His lasersharp, darkly witty and honest takes on modern life have made him popular within his chosen city of Berlin, where he lives with his wife and daughter. His style is brash, bold and flies in the face of traditional and slam poetry, aligning him more with the Beat poets of 1950's America.
