'Facets Faces' is about breaking forced silence and speaking openly about grief, weaknesses, fears, and hopelessness while lying sleepless in bed at night. It is about truths young adults must learn while growing up and the beauty that affects our everyday lives. With her poetry, the author wants to convey to her readers that it is okay to be yourself as long as you are authentic and that life presents us all with challenges. But most importantly, she wants to reach those who feel they are not being heard.
