This beautifully illustrated short story for young teenagers is launched on its journey to Botany Bay via an adaptation of the rollicking rhythm for Edward Lear's verse, "The Owl and the Pussycat"; several of these verses punctuate the prose as both the cat and the convict face various challenges on board and in the far strange land down under. The book is written by Judie Cross and illustrated by Paul Galy.
