These are a collection of tales and stories from the Central African Republic. They present local contexts and attitudes but also legendary explanations of every day life issues such as why is it that people should have to sleep, why we are different, why we have to eat, etc. Difficult philosophical questions are treated in a funny way so that young people as well as the less young are entertained beautifully.

This Central African lecturer usually writes in French or in Sango (a language of the Central African Republic). She has published a novel (Nago et sa grand-mère), poems (C'est la vie) and short stories (Ravages, Histoires étranges and Le prix de la vie d'un homme in Paroles du coeur de l'Afrique) as well as a collection of bilingual tales.
